February 4, 2021 Salt Sale Details & More

Dear Friends,

I hope the New Year is treating you well. We've been hard at work cranking out more salt and working on our expanded salt production line. As with most construction-related projects, our new line has fallen behind schedule due to a combination of vendor availability, equipment shipping and the like. We anticipate our expansion being complete soon, but we're just not there yet.

That said, we didn't want to wait longer to get more salt out the door, so we will be selling a traditional round of salt on Thursday, February 4th at 6pm with online ordering right here at HenlopenSeaSalt.com. The batch will be approximately the same size as most of our previous batches, so we expect it will sell out fairly quickly.

Since we are producing the same amount of salt as we did in 2020, we will be sticking to the 1-ounce packages for all sales, and we will limit each customer to a maximum of 5 of any individual product and 10 products in total. This ensures that more people are able to get salt.

We will once again be offering $5 flat rate shipping nationwide and doing local delivery, but we will limit local delivery to just the 19958, 19968 and 19971 zip codes.

In addition to our current favorites, we will have a limited amount available during this sale of our two newest products: Fennel Thyme Sea Salt and Everything Bagel Sea Salt.

The Fennel Thyme has quickly become a favorite in my kitchen. It has changed the way I eat chicken, probably forever. I eat it on popcorn, on roasted potatoes, and in chicken salad. It is disappearing faster than any other salt that I've created. I highly recommend it.

With the Everything Bagel, I'm tipping the cap to my history as a bagel man. In 2000, I opened Dave & Skippy's Gourmet Bagel & Sandwich Shop just off the boardwalk on Wilmington Avenue in Rehoboth Beach, where it still stands today under the longtime guidance of the Jacona brothers. So it's only natural that we crank out an Everything Salt. This mixture features onion, garlic, white and black sesame seeds, poppy seeds and our Delaware sea salt. It is sure to please with a variety of uses.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday, February 4th at 6pm at HenlopenSeaSalt.com!
